Become a Volunteer
We Need Your Help
Volunteers play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission of providing comprehensive programming to at-risk youth, victims of gun violence, and their families.
Our volunteers have the opportunity to work directly with program participants, providing mentorship, tutoring, and support, and helping them build the skills and resources necessary to become productive citizens.
If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, we invite you to fill out our volunteer application form. Once we receive your application, our team will review it and contact you to schedule an interview.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including:
-
Mentoring and tutoring program participants
-
Leading workshops or classes on topics such as financial literacy, job readiness, and STEAM
-
Assisting with administrative tasks or fundraising events
-
Providing pro-bono services in your area of expertise, such as legal or accounting services
Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of young people and those who are struggling to find stable employment or housing. We provide all necessary training and support, and we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels.
If you have any questions or would like more information about our volunteer opportunities, please contact us at volunteers@afjcollective.org.
